Two paths

Letting each supplier translate on their own puts your brand at risk

When every supplier translates alone

Quality drifts, and you carry the risk

Inconsistent terms

Each supplier translates differently, so your brand reads inconsistently across markets.

Safety exposure

A mistranslated label or manual puts product compliance and customers at risk.

No visibility

Files scattered across emails and inboxes, with no record of what shipped when.

Management overhead

You spend your week chasing suppliers instead of running the category.

When it runs through your program

Standardized, accurate, and off your plate

Consistent across brands

Expert translators apply your terminology to every supplier, every time.

Built-in compliance

Certificates and final files are stored and traceable in one secure archive.

Full visibility

Track turnaround, cost, and languages with reporting that you and your suppliers share.

Less to manage

Suppliers self-serve via the portal while you maintain control over speed and quality.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about the supplier translation program

What is the supplier translation program?
It is a centralized, self-serve program that lets you control translation quality for your suppliers' packaging, labels, and instruction manuals. Suppliers submit product information through customized web forms in the Argo Translation Customer Portal (ACP), and Argo Translation standardizes the process, giving you control over the speed, quality, and timing of every project.
What does the supplier translation program include?
You get a tailored supplier web portal with customized onboarding forms, secure cloud file storage with a safe delivery point, and comprehensive reporting that tracks turnaround time, cost, languages translated, and supplier metrics. Suppliers can submit projects, request online quotes, view status updates, and review billing history, all from one dashboard.
What type of content do you translate for suppliers?
The program is built for high-volume product content, including packaging, labels, and instruction manuals across thousands of products. Suppliers submit details through customized forms, and Argo Translation manages each project to ensure translations remain precise and consistent across all your supplier brands, even in fast-moving consumer markets.
How does the submission process work?
Suppliers submit product information through customized forms in the portal; Argo Translation collects and manages the detail, then assigns qualified linguists. Quotes are usually returned within 1 to 4 business hours for standard requests. As a general guideline, one linguist translates roughly 2,000 to 2,500 words per business day per language, with multiple linguists added for larger volumes. A confirmed timeline comes with every quote.
How is the program priced?
Pricing depends on project scope, including word count, number of languages, file types, and the workflow you choose. Translation memory reuse lowers cost over time by reusing previously approved content, and your portal reporting shows cost savings by language and project. Rush fees may apply when deadlines require them.
