You spent weeks on that copy. Rewrote the headline nine times, argued about one word in the subhead, tested two versions of the CTA. Then it goes out for translation and comes back as something a committee wrote. The tone is gone. The joke doesn't work. The line you fought for is now a literal rendering of itself.

Translation that carries the message behind the words

Your copy carries research, drafts, and a real understanding of your customers, and a translation that swaps the words and calls the job done would waste all of that work.

Argo Translation translates for the message, not just the wording. The linguists who handle your copy are marketing specialists working in their own language. The goal for every line is the reaction it was written to get.

Two paths

Marketing & public relations with and without a translation partner

Without a partner

The tagline goes word for word, and the effect that sold it disappears.

Each market translates on its own, and the brand voice drifts apart.

Untranslated pages sit in search as duplicates of the English page.

Machine translation ships after a glance, and nobody knows how it reads.

The launch window closes while the translation sits in someone's inbox.

With a partner

Lines where wording is the effect get rebuilt to land the same way.

One glossary and one voice guide keep the brand steady in every market.

Translated pages rank as their own content in each language's search.

A marketing linguist translates it, and the review matches the stakes.

Dates are set before work starts, and 99.9% of projects arrive on time.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about marketing & public relations translation

What's the difference between translation, localization, and rewriting the copy?
The level of change. A faithful translation carries the meaning exactly, which suits press releases, product details, and fact sheets. Localization adapts the content to the market: currency, idiom, examples, and the keywords people search. And when the wording itself is the effect, a slogan or a headline, a linguist rewrites the line to do the same job in the new language. Most campaigns need all three, decided piece by piece.
What does marketing translation cost?
Copy and document translation is quoted per word, by language, and the subject matter, turnaround, and level of adaptation set the rate. Repeat content costs less, because translation memory means a sentence you've already approved isn't billed like new work. And for lower-stakes content, AI translation reviewed by a linguist costs less than hand-crafted work. Share the actual piece and the deadline, and the quote comes back with the level of adaptation we'd recommend for it.
How do you keep the translation on our brand voice?
By treating your voice guide as part of the source material. You share the guide and any glossary with the first job, and the linguists who translate for your account are marketing specialists working in their own language. Translation memory keeps those choices consistent across everything you send afterward.
Can we just run our social posts through AI translation?
Sometimes, and we'll be straight about when. A short-lived, low-stakes post can go through machine translation with a human read-over. Two limits are worth knowing. A machine carries words, not intent, and social copy is mostly intent. And Google's spam policies list automated translation used to churn out many low-value pages as an example of scaled content abuse, so machine-translating your way through a content calendar can cost you search visibility rather than earn it.
